I used the video to make boat curtains for a Grady white I have never made anything like that but I do know how to sew. I did buy a walking foot sewing machine and they came out perfect.

This class is very informative. I am a complete beginner to marine canvas and was able to learn the fundamentals as well as a few tricks that can only be acquired with decades in the business. This workshop course along with the videos I purchased will teach me what I need to know to become a quality canvas fabricator.

John is a thorough, patient, and fantastic teacher! And the guy has a great down to earth sense of humor! I Just finished the class at Boat Canvas University and I couldn’t be happier. The small class sizes really help you learn John’s Method which included everything from building the bimini frame to patterning and fabricating the enclosure. John was always willing to answer whatever question we could come up with, and we had a lot. I subscribed to John’s videos to help me redo my canvas. Even though I had never done any canvas work before, I was especially interested in using hard acrylic instead of the traditional isinglass. His detailed instructions helped me do a great job on my Regal. He also answered some additional questions via texting. Great resource.
